Sex in Art is an exhibition catalog designed to accompany a group show held at the Sim Smith Gallery in London, featuring works by contemporary female artists. The exhibition explores themes of sexuality, identity, vulnerability, and power through a modern feminist lens. The book complements the curatorial vision by presenting these topics in a refined visual format—balancing expressive typography with minimal layout structure for clarity and tone.
With bold use of color and scale, the design emphasizes contrast and intimacy throughout the publication. Each featured artist is introduced through curated visual spreads and short texts, creating a consistent rhythm while honoring each voice. The goal of this project was to elevate the curatorial experience into an artifact of its own—one that feels tactile, thoughtful, and distinctly contemporary.
