BRAND IDENTITY
This project rethinks how a zoo can communicate its mission—bringing nature closer to the urban experience. The visual identity balances playful energy and structured wayfinding, ensuring an immersive, cohesive brand experience across print, signage, and merchandise.
Through research and experimentation, I explored visual storytelling that integrates nature into an urban context. The graphic system, featuring abstracted animal forms and expressive typography, creates a dynamic, engaging environment that blends education with visual impact.
I led the design of the branding, wayfinding system, and promotional materials, ensuring a bold yet approachable identity that reflects LA’s vibrant wildlife. From typography to color, every element was crafted to capture the essence of adventure and discovery.Every piece of this system—from directional signs to informational panels—was designed to guide, inform, and inspire visitors. The modular system ensures adaptability across locations, making navigation intuitive while reinforcing the zoo’s mission of conservation and exploration.
