LA ZOO
BRAND IDENTITY
This project reimagines the LA Zoo’s visual identity to create deeper emotional connections with visitors. I developed a flexible system of illustration, typography, and color to reflect the zoo’s mission—saving wildlife, building community, and inspiring curiosity about nature.
I focused on creating a bold visual language that invites exploration. The posters use custom illustrations and playful type to capture the wonder of wildlife while communicating the zoo’s story in a modern, approachable way.To expand the brand system, I translated the core elements into postcards, packaging, and merchandise. From backpacks and snack boxes to printed materials, each touchpoint is designed to feel unified and engaging—extending the zoo’s message beyond the gates.Working across physical and digital formats, I designed uniforms, staff badges, and signage to create consistency and clarity throughout the zoo experience. Every piece was crafted to feel both functional and emotionally resonant.Wayfinding and construction signage were also rebranded using the same visual system—ensuring that even transitional spaces support the zoo’s mission of education and discovery.
